About NCC Department
The NCC was started in 1970. NCC is an available for Junior and Senior college students of our College. Our NCC Unit is under 36 Maharashtra Battalion NCC Pune. As many as 100 Students can participate in NCC. NCC plays a vital role in making physical and mental development of students. It also plays an important role in employment generation. As a result , since 2008 several cadets have now been serving in military services in the best possible way . From this department many cadets have gone to attend Republic Day Parade in New Delhi. Lot of cadets have gone for NIC Camps all over India. One Cadet has been selected in G.V. MAWLANKAR SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP at Kolkata. Many NCC Handbooks and Defense Services books are available in our college library for Students and Competitors. Department has organized Swachhata Rally, Tree plantation, Blood Donation and so many Social activities. Many Competitions have been organized by the Department to make mental, moral and vocal development of Cadets and make them fearless in terms of morality.
Growth and Expansion

Regular Annual Activities of NSS
- Tree plantation and tree conservation.
- Cleanliness programs.
- Blood donation camp.
- Voter awareness and registration program.
- Active participation in pulse polio program.
- Rallies on different social issues to generate awareness .
- Workshop and lecture on personality development, leadership , national integration etc.
Special Camp – Seven days annual special camp in every academic year is organized. 150 NSS volunteer participated in adopted village.
